Calcium formate is an organic substance. Its molecular formula is C2H2CaO4. It can be used as feed additive, suitable for all kinds of animals, and has the effects of acidification, mildew prevention, antibacterial and so on. It is also used in concrete and mortar additives in industry. Calcium formate is slightly hygroscopic and tastes slightly bitter. Neutral, non-toxic, soluble in water. The aqueous solution is neutral. The solubility of calcium formate changed little with the increase of temperature, 16g / 100g water at 0 ℃ and 18.4g/100g water at 100 ℃. Specific gravity: 2.023 (20 ℃), bulk density 900-1000g / L. Heating decomposition temperature > 400 ℃.

1. Concrete Additive. Calcium formate is used as a fast setting agent, lubricant and early strength agent for cement. It can be used in construction mortar and various concretes to accelerate the hardening speed of cement and shorten the setting time. Especially in the winter construction, adding calcium formate to the cement can prevent the setting speed from being too slow at low temperature. The demoulding is fast, so that the cement can be put into use as soon as possible to increase its strength. Dosage of calcium formate and precautions: The amount of dry mortar and concrete per ton is about 0.5~1.0%, and the maximum addition amount is 2.5%. The amount of calcium formate is gradually increased as the temperature drops. Even if the amount of 0.3-0.5% is applied in summer, it will have an obvious early-strength effect.

2. Calcium formate produced by our factory can also be used for flue desulfurization of power plants.

Adding calcium formate to the feed will release trace amounts of formic acid in the animal's body, reducing the pH of the gastrointestinal tract, and has buffering properties, which is conducive to the stability of the pH in the gastrointestinal tract, thereby reducing the reproduction of harmful bacteria and promoting the growth of beneficial microorganisms. . For example, calcium formate can promote the growth of Lactobacillus to cover the intestinal mucosa from the invasion of toxins, thereby achieving control and prevention of bacterial-related diarrhea, diarrhea and other phenomena. The addition amount is generally 1 to 1.5%.
